Pistol and Rifle Camp — an elevated, safety-first carbine and rifle/pistol transition program that builds precision, dynamic movement, and repeatable skills. Explore dynamic drills with both rifle and pistol, as well as rifle→pistol transitions, using layered sight-picture standards and speed-focused drills building confidence with iron sights or ideally developing a deeper understanding with your Red Dot or Holographic optic.
Course description
Pistol and Rifle Camp — high-value course which blends combat-proven tactics, competition speed and precision, as well as modern training science. This program teaches you to dominate the carbine fight, integrate dynamic movement and speed, to execute safe, efficient transitions to your pistol when the situation demands it. Every drill is performance-driven, measurable, and coached with an emphasis on simplifying the approach, sight-picture discipline at varying tempos, and realistic stress exposure that builds reliable skill under pressure.
What you will learn
- Pistol Fundamentals at Speed: Draw, Natural Point of Aim, Controlled Pairs, Recoil Management, Follow through.

Carbine fundamentals at speed: mount, cheek weld, trigger control, optic/iron use + offset, and natural point of aim.

Dynamic movement: present, shoot, and manipulate while advancing, retreating, and negotiating cover without sacrificing safety.

Varied sight-picture standards: train flash, float, and stead optic confrimation so you can responsibly engage at close, mid, and extended ranges.

Rifle manipulations under motion: sling integration, rapid reloads, and malfunction clearance while moving.

Rifle→pistol transitions: planned and emergency transitions, retention presentations, and re-engagement sequencing under tempo.

Prerequisites & equipment

Minimum age per local law; demonstrated safe firearms handling.

Recommended gear: serviceable carbine with sling, serviceable pistol with carry holster, 3+ rifle mags, 3+ pistol mags, eye/ear protection, good footwear, hydration, knee pads if you'd like, pants are recommended.

Ammunition estimates: 300 Rifle + 350 Pistol.
